Ingredients
  

  • Deep-dish pie crust (9-inch)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a deep-dish pie crust, sauté onions, bell pepper, and garlic in olive oil until softened.
  2. Stir in Old Bay seasoning, paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add milk, eggs, cheddar cheese, and cooked shrimp; mix until combined.
  4. Transfer to oven and bake for 45 minutes until crust is golden and filling is set.
  5. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use pre-baked or homemade deep-dish crust.
Substitute red bell pepper for a sweeter flavor.
Cayenne pepper is optional—adjust to taste.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
