- Add condensed milk, sugar, and salt; stir until smooth
- Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat
- Stir in licorice extract, Kool-Aid powder, and beetroot juice
- Cool mixture briefly, transfer to parchment paper
- Roll tight ropes, cut into 1½" pieces, and wrap individually
